SELT exams for UK visa applications

Candidates are requested  to take both skill  (listening and speaking) or 4-skills (Listening,Reading, Writing and Speaking) SELT exam. All Skills for Language SELT exams are delivered over our global network of SELT Centres.

The minimal  European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level requested varies depending on visa type.Candidates  with a higher language level can take an exam above the minimum requirement as long as it assesses the related skills that also satisfy the visa request .

Visa requested information is subject to modification. Candidates  refer to UK Government guidance on English language exams for visas and are responsible to confirm that they take the correct exam. Candidates petitioning  for Study in the UK visas are requested to connect their sponsors to confirm which CEFR level they require before registering for an exam. Further down is a table outlining the minimum CEFR level and skills required for each visa type.
